introduction to Maeng da kratom
This is my maeng da kratom review, I started taking it a couple of months ago, and so far my experience has been a positive one. In this review, I am going to talk about some of the benefits that I have experienced as a result of taking maeng da kratom, I am also going to talk about some of the side effects that I experienced as well as the general side effects. I will also go into a bit of detail pertaining to the origins of this particular strain of kratom.
What is Maeng da kratom?
Maeng Da kratom is said to originate from Thailand and it is believed to be one of the purest strains of kratom out there on the market. Some other strands are sometimes mixed with other substances but mostly maeng da kratom is not mixed with other substances. In Thailand, traditionally they create a tea-like drink out of maeng da kratom to give to visitors to relax and calm them. This drink is also taken during traditional celebrations as a celebratory drink. The interesting thing about maeng da kratom is that people use it for medicine in Thailand but they also use it as a drink they choose to consume during celebrations. Thai people often make an iced tea with it and consume it as a refreshing beverage.
Maeng Da kratom comes from the Maeng Da tree and it has a unique and clean taste as opposed to some other strains of kratom.
Maeng da kratom is dark in color, much darker than some of the other forms of kratom out there on the market. When it is processed into a powder, it is very dark in color.
One thing to note about maeng da kratom is that it has more mitragynine, 7 hydroxymitragynine, and mitraphylline than most types of kratom out there. Therefore, it is a very powerful strain of kratom.
Benefits I Experienced From Using Maeng Da Kratom
Here are some of the benefits that I have experienced as a maeng da kratom user:
My energy levels drastically improved after a couple of weeks of taking maeng da kratom. I feel more energized and I rarely get that mid-afternoon slump that I used to get before I started taking this particular type of kratom. Prior to using kratom, I felt kind of tired all the time, I never got the diagnosis but I think I suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome. Because I would wake up in the morning and I would feel extremely tired after having 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I would have a cup of coffee, eat my breakfast and still feel tired. My energy levels would increase at around 11 am and then I would begin to feel extremely tired at around 2 pm and I would have to take a long nap. Considering the fact that I work from home, it can be very difficult because I would myself sleep for hours during the day. Since I started taking maeng da kratom, no more mid-afternoon slump, I still feel energetic after 3 pm. I would highly recommend this type of kratom if you struggle with energy levels.
Focus and Productivity
This is a major one for me, I work from home doing transcription work. I am on my laptop for hours and hours in a day. When I feel tired, I find it really difficult to have a productive day. However, when I take maeng da kratom, I can stay focused for at least 40 minutes at a time without getting distracted and losing focus. I can sit and work for at least 40 minutes fully focused on the taste without thinking about something else. Yes, 40 minutes does not seem like a long time but scientifically, our brains can only really function at high a level focus point for 25 minutes at a time. For kids, the attention span is even lower, at around 10 minutes at a time. Therefore, it is crucial that I find ways of boosting my productivity and increasing the amount of time I can fully focus without getting tired.
One of the major benefits of taking this type of kratom is that I can focus for longer periods of time and I get more work done in a day, which is great for my business because my productive output has drastically increased.
If you are someone who really needs to increase their productive output, I would definitely recommend that you try taking maeng da kratom to boost your productive output and get more done in a day. Also, great for students that need to focus and produce assignments or study for long periods of time.
Happier and More Optimistic About Life
This is another major one for me, feeling happier and more optimistic about life is important because when I am happier, I am generally healthier and I get much more done. Since I started taking maeng da kratom, I feel happier and more optimistic about life. One thing you should consider if you are taking maeng da kratom for happiness is that you should take it in moderation for the first couple of months. You want to avoid developing a dependency on the supplement.
When I first started feeling the effects of the maeng da kratom, I stopped taking it for a couple of days and I felt kind of miserable. Now I take it for 4 days and then take 3 days off. This is the best cycle for me, but everybody is different. Do what works best for you, but start taking it in small quantities when you first start taking it just to be safe.
Feel Less Stressed
I am definitely what you would call a “stress head.” I feel stressed all the time because I always have deadlines and stuff to do, it never really stops for me. But maeng da kratom is a welcome stress reliever for me, I just feel less stressed and more focused when I take it.
Anxiety is a bi-product of stress, I notice that when I am of the maeng da kratom I feel the anxiety surging through my body. Sweaty palms, heart palpitations and overall feeling anxiety and panic. Maeng da kratom reduces that feeling and makes me feel more calm, which is a wonderful feeling. I highly recommend maeng da kratom for anxiety sufferers. I have to say this though, if your doctor has already prescribed some drugs for you to take to reduce your anxiety then you should definitely talk to your doctor before you start taking maeng da kratom because it might be dangerous to take it in conjunction with maeng da kratom. Some drugs might interact badly with this strain of kratom so before you take it make sure that it is safe to do so.
If you have not been diagnosed with anxiety or prescribed medication and you do find yourself feeling anxious once in a while, maeng da kratom might help you to reduce that overall feeling of anxiety.
One thing I noticed was that taking maeng da kratom with caffeine is not a good idea at all. I read a few months ago that caffeine actually acts as an enhancer for kratom. However, I have found that when I drink coffee and take maeng da kratom at the same time, I end up with palpitations and I don’t feel good at all. I do suffer from insomnia sometimes as well and I noticed that taking maeng da kratom does not help with that at all. Funnily enough, though, it does help with my anxiety but not with my sleepless nights. Therefore, you have insomnia or you find it difficult to sleep at night, do not take maeng da kratom.
My brain functions better when I take maeng da kratom but please be aware that if you take too much it could increase your anxiety instead of relieving it. This is why it is best to start off slow, especially if you are new to taking maeng da kratom.
My experience using maeng da kratom has been a good one. I find that when I take too much, I get a few headaches here and there and I feel somewhat anxious. However, when I stick to a low dosage, I feel much better, my anxiety is greatly reduced and I feel happier and more energetic. The most notable benefit of taking maeng da kratom in my experience is the huge increase in focus and productivity, I can certainly recommend this to people who need work for long periods of time. Also for students who need to study or stay up for long hours trying to finish assignments or study for exams.
I experienced very little side effects from taking maeng da kratom and I would recommend that people who are new to the supplement do not over-consume, but rather take their time and increase the dosage over time as opposed to taking large amounts when they are not accustomed to taking maeng da kratom.
